One of Many Yeast Infection Home Treatment Plans - It May Wo

Today people are always short on time and looking for ways to do things fast. One of those things that do not thrill people is sitting in a doctors office waiting. This is why individuals like doing things themselves at home. So, when it comes to do-it-yourself yeast infection home treatment, Yogurt is the number one choice among women.

Yogurt contains bacteria called Lactobacillus acidophilus. This is a good bacteria and keeps yeast in the vagina in check. This particular bacteria produces hydrogen peroxide. This kills the yeast in the vagina. That is the goal of this treatment. Women that have opted for this method usually put it directly on their vulva and put some more in their vagina. How do they do this? Very carefully.

Some women fill a plastic tampon applicator with yogurt and then put it in the freezer. Now you have some little slices of yogurt to use. This yeast infection home treatment is preferred by many women for the simple fact that the cold feeling is a relief compared to the burning of the infection.

If you decide to use this method, make sure to use plain yogurt that has no flavorings or added sugar. Also make sure it contains Lactobacillus acidophilus cultures so you're not wasting time or effort. You should also be sure the actual yogurt is itself good. You don't want to put anymore bad stuff in your body. Besides this method for a yeast infection home treatment there are many others. You can try more of them if you like.
