Acidity and Gender Selection

I believe that today's difficult economy has sparked an interest in natural gender selection. Few couples today have the luxury of being able to spend thousands of dollars at a clinic in the hopes that it can deliver the baby girl or baby boy that they desire. So, people today are looking for ways that they can get the same results (and favorable odds) themselves - a sort of do it yourself version of gender selection. There are a few ways to go about this, but the one that seems to cause the most confusion is acidity and PH. I'll explain this concept more in the following article.

What Natural Gender Selection Is Based Upon: Most of the principles in naturally choosing your baby's gender are based on exploiting the advantages inherent in the father-to-be's sperm chromosomes. If you are trying for a baby girl, the advantage that you have is that the girl producing sperm (X) are stronger. If you want a boy, the advantage that you're working with is that this is the fastest of the two types of chromosomes (Y). So, everything that I'm going to be talking about (including acidity) is going to be based on these factors.

How Acidity Fits Into All Of This: The reason that your PH is important is that the weaker boy sperm can not withstand an acidic environment. So, if you want a boy, you'll have to work hard to lower your PH. The opposite is true if you want a girl. But how do you know if you're PH is a low or high one? You can test yourself using saliva testing strips that you can get a health food store of on the net. This will give you your starting point.

You can raise your PH through your diet if you concentrate on eating acidic foods. Examples are blueberries, corn, oatmeal, pasta and noodles, rice, butter and most meats. Examples of alkalizing foods (if you want a boy) are green beans, carrots, lettuce, apples, bananas, pears and nuts.

You can also tweak your acidity by douching with different solutions. You'll want to use acidic ingredients for a female baby and alkaline ingredients for a boy baby. And, you can combine both methods if you're in a big hurry. Of these two, douching yields the most dramatic results. You can easily test this by using the strips daily and making a note of what works best.

Of all of the natural methods to get the gender that you want, this one is the one that most people are reluctant to try. But, I can't stress how important it is to get over this. If you use the correct tools and approach this methodically, it's not as hard as it sounds. And, using the other methods that I'm about to discuss often will not be enough to ensure a high enough success rate.

Other Things For Your Consideration: Even if you're completely on board with tweaking your acidity, there are other things you can do (and these are easier too.) First, you need to make you that you time this right. For a girl, you want to conceive early - as many as three days before you ovulate. The boy sperm is too weak for this time line. For a boy, you want to wait until you've already ovulated. This is the only way to ensure that the Y's will still be around once conception takes place.

Finally, you can use different sexual positions depending on whether you want a boy or a girl. For a female conception, use shallow positions that place the sperm further away. The opposite is true is you want a boy. You'll want to get the sperm as close to the egg as possible. Rear entry positions are good for this as are anything that elevates your legs or hips.
