For many women losing baby fat after the birth can be very difficult. Most women try this fad diet or that one without realizing that there is no magic wand. Losing weight will always take a healthy combination of proper nutrition and exercise. Below I have listed out 6 simple steps to do to get back to the pre-baby you. 1) Eat More: By this I am referring to the number of meals you eat. Eat more meals in a day but small portions per meal. Your body will convert more of the food into energy as opposed to fat.
2) Reduce Stress: You just had a bay, how is this going to happen. Rely on friends and family to help you out here, stress can have a highly negative effect on weight loss. Take some you time.
3) Don't Just Sit There: most new mommies make the mistake of lazing around a little after delivery, understandable but this is the worst thing you could. As soon as you feel up to it start getting up and about.
4) Now you're just eating for 1: You have just spent the last 9 months catering to every craving and whim you had for food, no matter what it was. Time to stop, baby's out and now you need to return to healthy eating habits.
5) Exercise: Work at least to different exercises into your day. Pick at least one cardio and one strength training, this will help lose the baby fat and start toning your body.
6) Breastfeeding: This one really happens on it's own, providing you have decided to breastfeed. Breastfeeding requires lots of calories, this equals out to weight lose. This is probably the most enjoyable tip I give as all you do is sit there and bond with baby. There are many things you can do to start losing baby fat; most of it requires action on your part. So get up, get out there, eat right and have fun.
