Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle - Fact Or Fiction?

In the diet plan Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle, the designer discusses the proper way to lose weight and why most other diet and exercise programs fail to live up to their promises. But does Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle live up to its promises? In order to determine this, you need to understand exactly how this plan differs from most on the market and whether or not it will benefit you and your weight loss goals.

First, this plan does not play into the idea that you have to drastically reduce caloric intake. It also does not make you eliminate certain types of foods from your diet. So, if you are not sacrificing these things, how does it allow you to lose weight? The fact is when you deprive yourself of calories or necessary food types, your body's metabolism will slow to a point where it stops burning fat altogether. It goes into starvation mode and stores all fat instead of burning it as it is naturally intended to do. So, it is a fact that you should not reduce your calorie intake more than what is necessary for your body to run efficiently. Diets that claim you can lose weight by doing so are completely fictitious.

Next, Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle does not force you to eliminate food items such as carbohydrates from your diet as many diets today do. It is a fact based on scientific research that eliminating carbohydrates from your diet may have some short term weight loss benefits, you will be so tired and have so little energy that your body will not be able to maintain an active lifestyle. So, you will ultimately fail to lose weight. When choosing whether or not a diet is beneficial, make sure you look at the facts: that you should eat healthy, balanced meals as opposed to depriving the body of what it needs. Do not play into fictitious claims that these types of diets work.
