Uncover What Women With Beautiful Skin Do!

I have a confession to make... Women with beautiful skin all have their secrets. Why do we keep secrets from each other? Is it that important to look better than someone else? Here's a short collection of some of the beauty secrets from different cultures around the world. Many of them have been passed down for centuries, but for several generations, people were looking towards the future and were less interested in what the past had to offer. Slowly, but surely, that's changing.

Wakame Kelp

Wakame kelp is a kind of seaweed that some consider a nuisance, while others enjoy its texture and flavor. It was used in Japan and other Asian countries as a part of traditional medicine for treating all types of skin condition. Later, it became known as the Japanese "beauty preserver".

Scientific evaluation has shown that the nutritional content of the kelp is exceptionally high. All varieties of kelp have high nutritional value. They are particularly rich in the minerals iron, potassium and calcium. But, wakame has 15 times more calcium than an equivalent serving of milk. It is also one of the few plant foods that contain omega3 fatty acids.

But, why did women with beautiful skin say that this was the key to preventing an aged appearance? Researchers have found that something about the kelp inhibits the activity of Hyaluronidase, an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid is an amino acid, glucose complex that is essential for maintaining the skin's elasticity, smoothness and tone, over time. Loss of the compound causes the loss of a youthful appearance and the appearance of dark eye circles.

Maracuja & Babassu

Maracuja and Babassu are both from Brazil. They come from passion fruit and the palm tree. They have long been used by women with beautiful skin for several reasons. Maracuja is rich in essential fatty acids that make the face soft and velvety feeling. It balances sebum production, preventing it from becoming too oily or too dry.

Babassu is a light natural wax that softens and soothes, contributes to the velvety feeling. It creates an invisible barrier that keeps dirt and grime out of the pores. It has proven benefits for relieving eczema, excessive dryness and inflammation. Chronic inflammation is one of the causes of an aged appearance.

Grape Seed Oil

This one comes from Italy. It is a major byproduct of wine production. It can be used for cooking, baking and as a salad dressing.

Women with beautiful skin have used it as a moisturizer, to repair sun damage and as a lip balm. Unlike petroleum based oils, it is very similar to the skin's own sebum. So, it is readily absorbed without causing greasiness.

The oil possesses regenerative and restructuring qualities. It has antioxidant activity that prevents and repairs free radical damage, another of the major causes of an aged appearance.

Honey

This has been used by women with beautiful skin from around the world for many centuries. It has antioxidant and antibacterial activity. The most active variety is Manuka, from New Zealand. Some of the best anti-aging creams contain manuka, all of the other secrets mentioned here and more. Spread the word. We need all of the help we can get.
