O Positive (O Ve) Synergized Diet - How Does This Work?

The human body has 4 blood types: O, A, B, and AB - and these blood types have their own way of dealing with nutrients. So it's beneficial to use a diet according to your blood type. In this case, we tackle the best diet for people who has the blood type O, the O Positive (O Ve) Synergized Diet. People who have O positive blood type have strong stomach acid secretions and the respective enzymes it produces. Thus they are able to metabolize food more proficiently than other blood types.

Some of the foods that O type people should avoid are the dairy products, wheat and wheat derivatives - because gluten interferes with insulin which results to slower metabolic rate, beans and legumes - they contain a substance called the lectins of which are stored in the muscle tissues of the body, and lastly the cabbage, cauliflower and mustard - these food inhibit the production of the thyroid hormones where it would eventually lead to slower metabolic rate.

However, these are the recommended food for O people, foods that are alkaline in nature such as plums, berry etc. Blood type O people have low clotting capacity, so they bleed easily. It is advisable to eat vegetables that are rich in vitamin K and they should also pay more attention to high protein and low carbohydrate diet. They are also prone to diseases such as hypothyroidism, stomach ulcer and clotting problems. One natural way of maintaining a healthy system is to take antioxidants. An example of natural antioxidants is the Acai Berry which fight off toxins in the body. These Acai berries have also been found to be effective as a weight loss agent.

The first blood type to be identified was O, which takes us to our ancient ancestors who depended on high protein food such as meat and up until today, people still indulge in a high protein diet. It is recommended to remember to exercise daily and maintain an active lifestyle.

Mr. D'Adamo is the one who propose the O Positive (O Ve) Synergized Diet and many nutritionist and dietitian say that this theory is a pseudo-science and a hoax. Doctors say that this diet prevents people from consuming the right food needed for good health.
