There are 4 categories in calculating BMI using Weight Charts and these are the following:

1. Less than 18. 5 - meaning you are overweight
2. 18.5 to 24.9 - meaning you are on a normal weight
3. 25 to 29.9 - meaning you are overweight
4. 30 or more than - meaning you are obese

There are 2 fast and easy ways in calculating your index using Weight Charts. First, if you do not have a weighing scale and is planning to buy one, look for a digital weighing scale that allows you to measure not only your weight but also your height and your body mass index. You may have to spend a bit more than a manual weighing scale but it is all worth it so make sure you invest your money wisely. Second, you can just find a BMI Calculator online when you search for this in the internet and instantly, you can calculate your Body Mass Index using weight charts.
