Heartburn Home Remedy - Believe It, Use It - Because it Work

There's really no reason to continue suffering from heartburn all the time.  It's such an unpleasant, nagging problem for so many people that it's time to put an end to it.  Surprisingly, you don't need to go to the pharmacy to buy more antacids when you know how to apply a heartburn home remedy instead.  Using common, everyday products that you probably have around your house right now, you can relieve yourself of that annoying burning sensation in your chest.

Here are 4 different remedies that have worked for many people already:

  • Burnt Toast - the bread helps soak up excess stomach acid like a sponge while the 'burnt' part works like a filter (think of the charcoal water filters), to help neutralize the acid
  • Chewing Gum - Saliva is a natural antacid and helps with digestion, so chewing gum for 10 minutes after eating can have a very positive effect on controlling your heartburn
  • Yellow Mustard - Even though you might think yellow mustard contributes to your heartburn, you might be like many others who find that it actually HELPS your heartburn.  Only about a teaspoon full should do the trick.
  • Baking Soda - mixed with a bit of water and lemon juice, can quickly neutralize the acid in your stomach.  It does contain a lot of sodium, so if you're watching your salt intake, you might not want to try this method.

There you have it.  Four quick, easy, readily available methods you can use to extinguish your heartburn with stuff you can find at home!
