Most people exercise for different reasons. Some do it for better healthy. Some do it for more energy. Some do it for the social aspect. Some do it for more confidence. Most people will agree that slimming down and looking great is their primary motivation for working out. In this short article I am going to share a few tips that helped me get the body of my dreams. I wasn't going anywhere with my exercise routine nor my body until I started following these simple steps. You might surprised that these aren't the conventional tips you normally here. Exercise Tip #1- The first tip is decide what you want and how you're going to get it. Paint a picture of what you want to look like before summer time. Think of how great it will feel to be that new person. Now that you've decided you're going to make a change, make a few goals to make the change happen. When setting goals make sure they are specific and measurable. Failing to set goals the proper way will not help your success. "Lose 25 pounds by June 1st" is a great way to set a goal. Exercise Tip #2- The second step is to ask yourself this one questions. You've painted a picture of how you want to look. You've made a few specific goals on how and when you want to achieve this. Now you need to ask yourself if you're willing to pay the price. Are you willing to workout? Are you willing to eat healthier? Goals are great but if you're not willing to pay the price they are made in vain. Exercise Tip #3- The last tip is to keep a journal of your progress. It's important to know where you've been to get to where you're going. In your journal you need to keep track of your eating and your exercising. I like to write down the foods I've eaten throughout the day. I write down how many calories each food has. This helps me also see how healthy I am and keeps me more accountable. Write how long you exercised for and what exercises you did.
