Good Ab Exercises For Women

There are some great ab exercises especially for women to get those desired female abs. I listed the best exercises that can be done anywhere and almost at anytime. They are effective as they are safe, so ideal exercises for women.

First great exercise is the transversus abdominus or TVA muscle exercise, abdominal vacuum. It is easy to do, exhale and suck your stomach as much in as you can and keep it there for a while.

Second is the basic crunch. Lie on your back on the floor. Get your knees bent and hands behind your head. From there lift your head, neck and shoulder blades from the ground so that your lower back is against the floor. Stay at the up position for a second and return back on the ground.

The third basic exercise is the sit ups. The initial position is the same as in the crunch, but you can put your hands on your sides or against your chest. From there lift your self up so that your elbows touch your knees at the up position, you can come back down after this. Remember to do the exercise in calm and controlled manner, do not swing around or anything else similar.

Actually the truth of the matter is, that there is no ab exercises that are better for women. The same exercises work for men as for women, usually the difference comes from the fact that men are stronger than women. So in the beginning women should do easier exercises, and it might take longer for them to get their stomach stronger than it takes for men. Womens ab exercises are the ones you feel most comfortable to do, the results will come with hard work!
