As you're here looking for the Best Full Body Workout, I have to mention that I absolutely love full body workouts. Even though for many years I followed the principles of Chest on Monday, Back On Tuesday, Legs On Thursday and so on...this rather outdated method of training should be left to the likes of Ronnie Coleman and other professional bodybuilders. Of course if that is the physique you are aiming for carry on..but if a lean, sexy, athletic and muscular physique is more your cup of tea, then walk this way! I must admit it is hard to narrow down the Best Full Body Workout to just 3 exercises as there are so many fantastic exercises out there and I will be happy to share these with you later..but for now here we go the Top 3 Moves To The Best Full Body Workout:- Best Full Body Workout Move 1 - The Squat - traditionally an exercise said to be for the quads, however, you will be amazed at how many different muscles in the body this exercise actually hits This is probably the greatest weights/resistance exercise ever! The standard squat is to have a barbell across the back of your shoulders, feet shoulder width apart and squat down as though you are sitting in an imaginary chair behind you! Well, try with a weight across your front shoulders, you will probably need a lighter weight, but the benefits to your core and entire midsection is incredible. Once you've mastered that, hold the weight with arms extended above your head and try squatting, you are pretty much using every single muscle in your body to control the weight in the air while you complete the move. Best Full Body Workout Move 2 - The Clean and Press - I'm never sure whether it should be called the Clean and Press, or Jerk or Snatch..but basically you are incorporating all these moves! Grab a Barbell as though you are going to deadlift it and lift up to your mid thighs, flip to your chest and then press overhead. There are a few different versions of this exercise that I have seen and my personal favourite may be slightly different as well. I prefer to lift the weight and pull up all the way to my chin (in an upright row type move) while standing up on my toes (this is an explosive start to the exercise), then rock back onto heels and into a semi-squat while flipping your wrists and almost "catching the weight" on your upper chest, then push the weight overhead! Best Full Body Workout Move 3 - The Bench Press - probably the most overused exercise you will ever see in a gym! I'm not sure, but there seems to be something very masculine about going to the gym and only ever doing bench presses and bicep curls...you will not know how many lop-shoulder, chicken-legged, pot bellied guys with huge chests and bulging biceps I have come across in my time...Anyway I digress. The Standard Bench Press, great exercise primarily for the Chest that beautifully incorporates the Shoulders and Triceps too. Please don't forget that your bench does move as well! Therefore, Incline and Decline bench presses should play a healthy part of your workout. So there you go the Top 3 Moves For The Best Full Body Workout. Just performing these 3 exercises on a regular basis will see you well on your way to attaining that fit, healthy, sexy and muscular physique you have always craved.
